Criss angel - black background

well not a nice photo because I took it on the night after I came back from college, but this is my recent work for drawing class...

the character as the tittle says is Criss Angel from the Mindfreak program he has, and for those ones who didn't know him, he is an illusionist very famous in USA, specially for Las Vegas, and he lives in the Luxor hotel where he do shows too sometimes.

I know that Criss haven't blue eyes and the jacket was black, but here comes the idea of this work we do at drawing class. The professor said that this work is titled black background, because we had to draw a realistic person (whoever we want) and then paint that picture on an industrial carboard (that we first painted with black latex paint); and the idea is to paint the picture with any colors, no matter if it's something crazy (yes, some of my classmates painted blue or green faces and all crazy things XD) but letting the black background be still visible, so then you see now how it works looking at my photo, and you can see too that I optated to do it really similar to the original pic I used, only changing some colors like the eyes and the jacket

hope you like it, I enjoyed very much doing this work and I loved the results specially this is one of my first trying to draw real persons and specially one of my most loved idols that is Criss Angel.

no es una buena foto porque la saque apenas volvi del colegio, pero este es uno de mis mas recientes trabajos del taller de dibujo...

como bien lo puse en el titulo este es un dibujo de uno de mis mas grandes idolos que es Criss Angel, quien muchos podran conocer por su programa Mindfreak; pero para quienes no lo conocen, él es un mago e ilusionista estadounidense muy famoso a nivel mundial, vive en Las Vegas, mas precisamente en el hotel Luxor donde hace tambien algunas de sus increibles presentaciones y actualmente tambien sabe hacer shows junto con el Cirque Du Soleil; igualmente como dice tambien tiene su programa llamado Mindfreak.

y antes que me digan que me equivoque con los colores porque criss no tiene ojos celestes, ahi viene la idea de este trabajo que hicimos en la clase de taller de dibujo
Lo primero fue que el profesor nos pidio que hagamos un dibujo realista de alguna persona real (no importa quien fuere, uno mismo, un famoso, quien se nos ocurra) y lo siguiente era pintar ese mismo dibujo en una cartulina industrail que previamente habiamos pintado con latex negro, qeu de ahi viene el nombre de la tecnica que es "fondo negro"; y a qeu viene esto? pues la idea era qeu al pintar se notara la base negra que hay detras del dibujo, asi mismo como las lineas que no son pintadas si no que es simplemente lineas de fondo que teniamos que dejar para dar ese efecto del dibujo y ademas tambien teniamos que pintarlo del color que sea, (aunque yo lo haya pintado parecido a la original XD) por eso mismo algunos compañeros pintaron caras azules o verdes y de cualquier loca combinacion que se les ocurra XD

Pues aca pueden ver el resultado de la tecnica en mi foto, que no se nota mucho porqeu me salio oscura, pero ya mañana saco otra y la resubo para que vean como queda el veteado y se descubre el fondo negro.

y nada mas que decir mas que espero que les guste mi trabajo tanto como a mi me gusto hacerlo, y claro que si orgullosa de los resultados porque ni yo la creo que pinte eso X3 jejeje

ah y el dibujo va dedicado a mi idolo Criss Angel y a sus fans.
