Sonic SEGA tablet advertising

this is an advertising work I did for Visual Languaje subject at college. We had to do pictures representing the diferents functions of the images and this one is about the apellate function of the images and I choose doing an advertising. (there are more functions that I'm going to upload later, we did 4 of them)

I drew Sonic because I love his attitude specially in this pose I did using as reference a pic from sonic channel's coloring pictures, he looks a lot like he is trying to sell something XDDDD; he is all drew and colored by hand and then I scanned it to integrate to the image. The tablet is a photo I found on google when I was searching blue tablet pictures, only that I edited it with photoshop to put SEGA logo instead the original logo it had. The text, background, shadows and reflection effect on the floor, all is done with photoshop CS4.

oh and if you want to know the text it's in spanish and it says "the fastest tablet of all", only to do something with Sonic being the fastest thing alive

I really love the results, specially for the digital parts in this image and maybe in the future I could try to do more with other Sonic characters and other tablet colors hahaha!

esta es una publicidad que hice para el taller de lenguaje visual en el colegio. La consigna era hacer algun dibujo que represente las diferentes funciones de la imagen, en este caso esta publicidad está representando la función apelativa de la imagen (hay más funciones que iré subiendo más adelante cuando tenga tiempo, son 4 las que hicimos)

Elegí dibujar a Sonic porque me encanta su actitud, en especial esta pose que para hacerla me guié de uno de los dibujos para colorear del Sonic Channel, porque parece que estuviera tratando de vendernos algo XDDDD; Sonic está dibujado y pintado a mano, luego lo escanee para integrarlo en la imagen. La tablet es una foto que encontré buscando en google fotos de tablets azules para que vayan a tono con Sonic, solamente que edité la foto con photoshop para ponerle el logo de SEGA en vez del logo de la marca original de la tablet. El texto, las sombras, el fondo y el efecto de reflejo en el piso, lo hice todo con photoshop CS4 (sip, ahora lo sé manejar bastante mejor que antes, no tan a nivel profesional pero algo más se XDDD)

Lo del texto ya se darán cuenta que es por Sonic que es el más veloz, es como un juego de palabras y quise hacerle un efecto borroso por el mismo motivo, aparte de que toda la imagen traté que fuera en la misma gama de colores.

La verdad que fue uno de los trabajos que más me entretuve haciendo, aparte de que me encantó los resultados que obtuve en la parte digital de la imagen, así que tal vez mas adelante intente hacer algunas publicidades más de este estilo con otros personajes de sonic y otros colores de tablets hahahaha!!
